Self-regulating Heating Cable

PTC-based electric heat tracing solution for pipe freeze protection, hot water temperature maintenance, roof & gutter de-icing and industrial temperature maintenance.

What is Self-Regulating Technology?

Unlike conventional heating cables using a metal heating wire, self-regulating heating cables use a conductive polymer core with PTC characteristics.

When the surrounding temperature drops, the cable increases heat output. When the temperature rises, the cable automatically reduces heat output.

Key Benefits

  • Automatic heat output adjustment
  • Reduced risk of overheating
  • Lower energy consumption
  • Suitable for cut-to-length installation
  • Reliable long-term operation
  • Suitable for commercial and industrial applications

Application Areas

Pipe Freeze Protection

Protects water pipes, valves and exposed pipework from freezing in cold environments.

Hot Water Temperature Maintenance

Helps maintain hot water supply temperature without complex recirculation systems.

Roof & Gutter De-icing

Prevents ice build-up in gutters, downpipes and roof drainage areas.

Industrial Heat Tracing

Maintains process temperature for pipes, tanks and industrial facilities.
